PowdermatriX Helps Keep Industry Ahead in Tooling
Anyone with a technical interest or involved in die
pressing will be interested in a one-day Awareness Meeting being organised
by PowdermatriX.
The meeting will cover recent developments in materials and manufacturing
methods for powder compaction tooling and associated issues, such as
lubrication and assisted die filling technologies.
This meeting will be of particular interest to technical personnel
across all sectors from powder feedstocks, toolmakers supplying to these
sectors and powder suppliers. As well as the advanced ceramics, powder

be relevant to producers of pharmaceutical and other pressed products.
PowdermatriX, the Faraday Partnership responsible for the development
and promotion of powder processing, is hosting the meeting, which will
take place at the CRDM, (the Centre for Rapid Design and Manufacturing)
of Buckinghamshire University College, High Wycombe on Tuesday 10 May.
